What is TurnAround?
TurnAround is a free services provided to parents who are trying to determine if their child is involved with drugs.
What does TurnAround offer?
The purpose of TurnAround is to offer a confidential drug screen and an adolescent substance abuse assessment conducted by an experienced adolescent subtance abuse counselor. Once the assessment and drug test are completed, the counselor will meet with the parents to evaluate the results and make a recommendation.
Who should use TurnAround?
TurnAround is offered to parents who have reached the point where they are concerned that their child may be using drugs but are not able to prove it. The parents believe that meeting with a counselor and having their child take a drug test will help to TurnAround their child from drug use. TurnAround is a beginning that gives parents the accurate information they need to take the next steps to help their child.
What is the cost of the program?
TurnAround is offered at no charge to families living in Talbot County.

TurnAround is offered at the Talbot County Health Department Addictions Program office at 301 Bay Street, Suite 307, Easton, MD, 21601. Telephone 410-819-5900.
Parents can call weekdays 410-819-5900 to schedule an appointment. Appointments will be scheduled within 24 hours.
