Youth Advisory Committee and Youth Coalition Steering Committee for Alcohol and Other Drug Use Prevention to Meet
The Youth Advisory Committee of the Talbot Partnership Youth Coalition for Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Prevention is meeting Thursday, July 23 at 4 p.m. at Idlewild Park in Easton. The Committee meets weekly to plan prevention initiatives and activities based on a clear “NO tobacco, alcohol, or any other drug at any time” policy. Upcoming events include a summer pool party with a local DJ scheduled for August 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Easton Community Pool. Youth ages 13 through18 are invited to attend.
The Youth Coalition Steering Committee for Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Prevention is open to any youth or adult who has a passion and commitment for keeping youth free of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. The next Youth Coalition Steering Committee meeting is Wednesday, July 29 at 4 p.m. at the Talbot Community Center in the Chesapeake Room.
